සුළියකට හසුව
ගසාගෙන ගියත්
මුහුදට ඒ් හද
පෙරළි පෙරළී
පිම්බි පිම්බී
එනවා නැවත
මුහුදු බෙල්ලන් පිරි

සරුංගලයකි නුඹ
සිහින්ය හුයකින් මා අත රැඳුණු
ඈත සිතිජයේ පාවෙන්ට ඉඩදී
මමද බලාඉමි
හුය තදින් අල්වාගෙන...
බියක් විය මට
සමබරව නොමැතියි
හැඩට ඇලවුවද
කුරුලු තුඩකින්
බිඳී යායැයි...
හුළං වේගෙන් හමනවිට
ම'අත කැපෙන්ට තරම් වෙයි
හුය කැඩෙන්ට නොදී
ඇඟිලි ලෙයින් පෙඟී යයි...
